I Will Try To Fix You

Am I being boring picking a song everybody knows and most of us love every word of? Am I picking a song that perhaps will be picked by ten other bloggers today? Maybe! I don’t care!!! It is such a brilliant song. Jim said to pick a song on the them of FIX/MAKE and how could I ignore the anthem that we all want to sing along to at festivals and play in our saddest moments?

"FIX YOU" - COLDPLAY

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

I am generally a lover of life and people. I wanted to start a blog to have an outlet for the millions of thoughts in my mind and to be able to connect with the world of the living. Since life seems to have moved online since the pandemic began, I need to join this party!
